Karin Bacon Biographical Note
Karin Bacon is the Head of the International School of Dublin. Born in Dublin, Karin attended Froebel College of Education and Trinity College Dublin [B.Ed. (1988), M.Ed. (1988) and current doctoral studies]. She has extensive teaching experience in both the Irish education system and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, having taught for many years at the Munich International School.
Karin also has extensive experience in curriculum development, and was involved in the writing and design of the International Schools Curriculum Project. She remains a regional trainer for teachers of the IB Primary Years Programme.
