Since its establishment in 2007, the International School of Dublin (ISD) has experienced continual growth. We currently have 55 children aged 3-12 from Ireland and 13 other countries. We believe that the school’s success is due to the internationally regarded and accredited curriculum of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the manner in which it is lived out at ISD by students, staff and parents. We are proud to be the only IB World Primary School in Ireland.
At ISD you will find a welcoming, lively and focused environment which is characterised by collaborative and purposeful activity. To the families of international employees, entrepreneurs and academics and to local families who want their children to benefit from this innovative form of schooling, ISD offers a private, broad education that promotes inquiring, knowledgeable, principled, open-minded and caring learners who are also balanced, reflective and risk-takers. Every day, our children, in small, co-ed classes, are guided by our internationally experienced staff to inquire about and question the world in which we live.
The development of internationally minded students who have a clear view of their role in society and the planet’s problems and possibilities helps prepare them for the multicultural and diverse world we live in. Our children are encouraged, guided and challenged to engage with real-life learning experiences. We aim for individual success and achievement for all children.
ISD accepts year-round student enrolments. Prospective parents and students are welcome to visit and see for themselves how exciting the International School of Dublin is! To set up an appointment, please contact the school office (firstname.lastname@example.org or +353 (0)87 329 1417).
Additionally, we post regular updates on our Facebook site, which we invite you to “like”. With more than 130 student alumni scattered throughout the world, we enjoy keeping in touch with all our families – current, past and those soon to join us.
